Former U.S. Ambassador to the United Kingdom Robert Tuttle says he's incredibly proud to be Chickasaw amongst other Chickasaw leaders in Oklahoma and throughout the world. Tuttle served under President Reagan from 1982 until the end of his administration, and he answered the call to service again when President George W. Bush requested his fulfillment of the ambassadorship. Though he’s traveled all over the world, he says he feels a great connection to Oklahoma and to the town named after his grandfather, where his father Holmes Tuttle was born.
