Triana Browne-Hearrell remembers dreaming as a young girl that she was singing on stage, wearing a beautiful red dress. When she performed her talent portion of the Miss America competition, she realized that all of the details of her dream were playing out in real life. Having been crowned Miss Oklahoma in 2017 and participated in the Miss America pageant system, she is back as Miss Oklahoma USA 2019 (part of the Miss Universe system). She plans to continue her work to bridge the cultural divide in America, a quest that has already led her to travel over 75,000 miles and speak to over 100,000 people. Triana looks to her Chickasaw heritage as a source of inspiration: "I am strong, I'm a unifier and I'm an overcomer because I am Chickasaw."
