In this episode of CNTV News, Brad and Quin feature rediscovered sketches by heroic Pawnee soldier Sergeant Brummett Echohawk. Sergeant Echohawk served in the 45th Infantry Division, also known as the Thunderbirds, during World War II. His pencil drawings offer a raw, emotional look at the human experience of war. "He really got down to the truth of it. The pain of it," says National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum curator Eric Singleton, Ph.D.

Next in the episode, Brad and Quin visit the new, 40,000-sq.-ft facility for the Oklahoma National Guard Museum in Oklahoma City, set to open to the public in June 2026. The museum is dedicated to preserving the story of the Thunderbirds, the division of the National Guard that had the highest percentage of First American soldiers during WWII. Providing a new home for Thunderbird artifacts, the Oklahoma National Guard Museum honors the sacrifices of Oklahoma soldiers and the warrior traditions of First Americans.

To close the episode, Lighthorse Police Officer Tucker Halstead is named Indian Country Law Enforcement Officer of the Year by the International Association of Chiefs of Police. His heroic rescue in early 2024 saved a mother and child from the second floor of an apartment fire, and assisted other residents to safety.
