Better health and wellness begins at birth and lasts a lifetime in the Chickasaw Nation. Medical services, preventative programs, dental, vision, nutrition and fitness programs are only part of the range of benefits.
Who doesn't want a healthy and happy family? Luckily, Chickasaw families have access to youth camps and clubs to inspire and encourage young people. Cultural workshops and directories connect families to their tribe. And a full range of crisis intervention programs help families when they need it the most.
Chickasaw elders are treasured members of the tribe. They deserve programs to enhance daily life, from meal delivery to help with household chores to transportation. Senior centers are the hub of activity throughout the Chickasaw Nation.
The Chickasaw Nation has survived despite attempts throughout history to destroy or undermine its sovereignty. That's why positive interactions with the U.S. Government and the Bureau of Indian Affairs benefit everyone. On the local level, the Chickasaw Lighthorse Police maintains partnerships with adjacent law enforcement jurisdictions. The Chickasaw Nation also has its own executive, legislative and judicial branches, and all Chickasaw citizens over the age of 18 are eligible to vote.
Chickasaw citizens have access to programs to help with down payments or assistance with repairs, plus rental programs are available for those who aren't quite ready to take the leap into home ownership. Citizens even have the opportunity to pick out plants and sod for their homes. Additionally, there are a wide variety of community services available for Chickasaws from all walks of life.

At-Large Services allow those who live outside the Nation's boundaries to take advantage of the many benefits available to Chickasaw citizens. Some of the services available to at-large citizens include mail order prescriptions, elder assisted living benefits, housing grants, education assistance and more.
