The Chickasaw White House in Milburn, Oklahoma was built in 1895 by Chickasaw Governor Douglas Johnston and was home to his family from 1898-1971. Now under the care of the Chickasaw Nation, it has been beautifully restored with all-original furniture and belongings from the early 1900s. The White House is open to the public Wednesday through Saturday (except on federal holidays) from 10am to 4pm.
