Before summer is over, be sure to take advantage of the warmer weather with a weekend getaway in Chickasaw Country! First, check out the Chickasaw National Recreation Area in Sulphur, OK, which is the oldest national park in Oklahoma. Superintendent Bill Wright, a Chickasaw citizen, will be able to show you around. And while in Sulphur, be sure to visit the historic Artesian Hotel! Finally, start planning now for the Hayaka Unta Camp in Milburn, OK this fall, where Chickasaw youth and a parent/guardian can enjoy quality time in the great outdoors.
