As Americans pause to honor veterans this November, the Chickasaw Nation joins the country in saluting the men and women who have selflessly served. Soon, all veteran services will be in one easy-to-find location: the new Chickasaw Veterans Lodge, which will be built near the Chickasaw Nation Medical Center in Ada. The Lodge will act as a space for veterans to connect with each other, share their stories for generations to come, and continue to serve their communities through groups like the Chickasaw Honor Guard. Bill Scott, a Chickasaw veteran and son of famed aviator Pearl Carter Scott, says that if he was young and had the choice, he would do it all over again.
