Five noteworthy Chickasaws are inducted into the Chickasaw Hall of Fame. The ceremony takes place at the Riverwind Showplace Theatre in Norman, Oklahoma. Each Chickasaw entering the Hall of Fame has made a positive influence and contributions to the tribe. Governor Bill Anoatubby recognizes and congratulates each inductee for their accomplishments. The 2013 Hall of Fame inductees are: Betty Ruth Kemp, Gene "Nashoba" Thompson, Colbert Latimer "Bud" Baker, Jr., Benson Pikey, and Thomas Benjamin Thompson, Sr.
