Chickasaw teenager Faithlyn Seawright travels often to represent her tribe and the state of Oklahoma. Faithlyn was crowned Junior Miss Oklahoma in 2015 and is the first Chickasaw citizen to hold that title. That wasn’t her first time to earn a crown; in 2013, she was named Junior Miss Chickasaw. In her various roles, Faithlyn has the opportunity to travel and promote her platform of overcoming identity barriers. Her Chickasaw spirit also comes alive through her artistic talents, and, at just 17 years old, she’s already received numerous awards for her work.
