Wyas Parker is a young Chickasaw musician who recently took the top honor in the Ada's Got Talent 2012 event. He talks about how he credits blues guitar player, Mississippi John Hurt, for motivating him to write his own music and lyrics, but it was Bob Dylan who inspired his award winning song "The Typist". Wyas says music speaks to him in ways words never can and it is this idea that helps him create music of which he can be proud.
