The McSwain Theatre Art Gallery was recently host to an exhibit titled "Ancient to Abstract" by Tracie Tuck-Davis. Davis, who says she feels "a connection through time and space" to her ancestors as she paints, is known for the painstaking historical research that goes into each of her pieces. "I want our people to know this is who we are, this is where we came from and these are our patterns," Davis said.
