A model of strength, bravery, and honor is now in place at Remington Park in Oklahoma City. The Chickasaw Horse and Rider, a 12 foot tall statue, was modeled after Ray Brown, a Chickasaw Elder and former member of the U.S. military. Brown served in the Vietnam War as a helicopter pilot and is now the picture of an ancient Chickasaw Warrior in the form of a beautiful statue. It took Enoch Kelly Haney, a world renowned artist, two years to create and complete the sculpture.
