June 15, 2011 – New Senior Centers, Ardmore and Connerville

Chickasaw Nation News

Two new senior centers are underway in the Chickasaw Nation. Governor Anoatubby and a host of others broke ground recently on the new sites in Ardmore and Connerville. The 9,000- and 6,000-square-foot facilities, respectively, will house kitchens, dining rooms, exercise and craft equipment. Above all, they'll be places that honor the elders through activities, meals and companionship. For more information on Chickasaw Nation Senior Centers, visit Chickasaw.net/Elders.
