Only Chickasaws Left No Remnant Tribe Behind

The Chickasaws were determined to get all of the Chickasaws out of Mississippi and Alabama. Some Chickasaws had originally stayed behind to raise cotton. When the cotton market fell, those people wanted to join the rest of the tribe. The Chickasaws were the only tribe that didn’t leave a remnant group behind.
