Harris Penner is the owner of Penner Black Angus Ranch and is very proud of the economic impact the Chickasaw Nation has had not only for Chickasaws, but for the state as a whole. His ranch is on land passed down through many generations, and his three daughters hope to continue the strong Chickasaw tradition of caring for the land that has been in his family since the days of Indian Territory. Penner is the great-great-grandson of Cyrus Harris, the first governor of the Chickasaw Nation, who came to Oklahoma on the Trail of Tears. Penner is so proud of his Chickasaw heritage and happy to see the quality improvements and contributions the Chickasaw Nation makes each and every day.
