Jeremy Wallace: Living Chickasaw Culture

Meet Our People – The Enduring Spirit of the Chickasaw Nation

Jeremy Wallace was a cultural instructor at the Chickasaw Cultural Center and was also an accomplished drummer, singer, artist and stomp dancer. Jeremy showed gratitude for his ancestors' strength and courage through his passion for Chickasaw tradition and his dedication to sharing Chickasaw culture with the next generation.

Jeremy’s life was tragically cut short in 2017, but his Chickasaw spirit will always be remembered. During his life, he was incredibly proud to be able to pass down his cultural beliefs, customs and traditions to his daughter, Nannola Bicey Wallace.
