Linda Briggs

Linda Briggs has served as the Pickens District Representative to the Chickasaw Tribal Legislature from 1994 to 2000, and then from 2001 to the present. She is a member of the Human Resources, Land Development, Education, Election Rules and Regulations Ad Hoc and special Ad Hoc Committees and the Court Development Ad Hoc Subcommittee.

In addition to her legislative service, Linda is a member of the Chickasaw Utility Authority Board of Directors and has served on the board of trustees for 20 years. She has previously been the mayor of Marietta, Oklahoma, president of the Marietta City Council, city treasurer and member of the Marietta School Board. She has also served on the Love County FEMA Board of Directors and on the board of the Love County Chamber of Commerce.
