WinStar Opens

Originally opened as WinStar Casinos in 2004, the facility was expanded and renamed WinStar World Casino in 2009 and then in 2012 was expanded again. The 62,000 square foot expansion makes it the second largest casino in the world in terms of size and the largest casino in the world in terms of games with 7,000 electronic games, plus table games, card-based roulette, a poker room, off-track betting, Keno, and Bingo. In progress expansion plans will make WinStar the largest casino in the world in 2013. In addition, WinStar now features a luxury 18-story hotel with 500 rooms, an inn, RV park, and an expanded golf course and spa.
