Tyler Gillum is the head coach of the Savannah Bananas, a baseball team creating a one-of-a-kind sporting experience for fans across the country. With a two-hour time limit, choreographed dances, the Banana Pep Band and much more, each game of Banana Ball is full of surprises and excitement.

Tyler's connection to his Chickasaw heritage has helped him reach his life goal of impacting one million people through baseball, education and exercise. "I'm so proud of my Chickasaw heritage, the core values ... the servant leadership, the perseverance, the teamwork," Tyler says. The Savannah Bananas has only grown since its founding in 2016 and today, more than 2 million people sit on the waitlist for tickets. "I've always chased big goals, and I don't know if I could ever dream of this ... and I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for the Chickasaw Nation."
